Life Stage Ministries
(50s & 60s)
Boomers is a group for singles and couples born between 1945 and 1965. They meet monthly at various times and locations just for fun. Typical activities include beach get-togethers, concerts in the park and holiday parties.
Gender Specific Ministries
Christ Presbyterian Church offers several opportunities for women to gather together for fun, friendship and growing in faith--finding a home and building a life in Christ.
Bible study and book clubs are among the ongoing groups. Then there’s the women's retreat held in the spring at a nearby resort and the always anticipated Women's Christmas Dessert held the first Friday in December.
CPC offers many opportunities for men to build friendships and to grow in faith.
BB&B is a monthly fellowship open to all featuring burgers, brats, and brownies, usually the third Monday.
Men's Bible studies meet on Tuesday morning (7 p.m.) on campus and at Panera’s in the Forum on Wednesday (6:45 a.m.). Other groups meet for faith and friendship on a weekly or semi-monthly basis.
There's an annual retreat in the fall featuring a great speaker who will challenge you, great food, activities and maybe even a poker tournament to benefit one of our outreach ministries.
Our Inquirer’s Class welcomes people who want to become members of CPC and those who just want to learn more about Presbyterians and what makes them tick. There is no obligation to “join the church.” The class is offered on Sunday morning several times throughout the year.
Included in the class is an overview of what it means to be a Christian, as well as a Presbyterian; the mission of Christ Presbyterian Church; and opportunities for fellowship, learning, and service at CPC. Watch your Sunday bulletin and this page for our next class!
