Gender Specific Ministries

Christ Presbyterian Church offers several opportunities for women to gather together for fun, friendship and growing in faith--finding a home and building a life in Christ.

Bible study and book clubs are among the ongoing groups.  Then there’s the women's retreat held in the spring at a nearby resort and the always anticipated Women's Christmas Dessert held Friday, December 9.

CPC offers many opportunities for men to build friendships and to grow in faith.

BB&B is a monthly fellowship open to all featuring burgers, brats, and brownies, usually the third Monday.

Men's Bible studies meet on Tuesday morning (7 p.m.) on campus and at Panera’s in the Forum on Wednesday (6:45 a.m.).  Other groups meet for faith and friendship on a weekly or semi-monthly basis.

There's an annual retreat in the fall (November 11-13) featuring a great speaker who will challenge you, great food, activities and maybe even a poker tournament to benefit one of our outreach ministries.

Finally, our periodic Iron Sharpens Iron breakfast provides a full-fledged, no-holds- barred breakfast menu including massive amounts of sausage and bacon.  And of course, there's a speaker who will give you tools to help you build a life worthy of presenting to God.

Build A Life U

Three week sessions on Wednesday evenings,  offering a selection of classes to help you in your spiritual journey.  Optional dinner starts at 6:00, classes begin at 7:00.

Our Inquirer’s Class welcomes people who want to become members of CPC and those who just want to learn more about Presbyterians and what makes them tick. There is no obligation to “join the church.”  The class is offered on Sunday morning several times throughout the year.

Included in the class is an overview of what it means to be a Christian, as well as a Presbyterian; the mission of Christ Presbyterian Church; and opportunities for fellowship, learning, and service at CPC. Watch your Sunday bulletin and this page for our next class!
