Sermon Practice Resurrection
Wendell Berry is a farmer, poet, essayist, and Christian whose words and faith have moved many. One of his poems ends with the phrase, Practice resurrection. That could be a simple declaration of what it means to be a follower of the risen Christ in any time, but particularly in ours. We’ll be thinking how we might “practice resurrection” for the next six Sundays of the Easter season.
To worship online live Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church
and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Coffee service is available after both Sunday services.
ONE WORSHIP SERVICE: BURN THE MORTGAGE! Sunday April 23, 10:00 a.m. followed by a party for all ages on the patio and lawn. We’ll look back at an “amazing grace” year, and look forward to the bright future God has for us. We will celebrate retiring the debt of our $1.8 million sanctuary renovation after less than five years of a 20 year loan, saving $300,000 in interest. Everyone will have a role in burning the mortgage! Feast with friends after worship.
