Sunday, April 19: Online Worship for the Second Sunday of Easter
We will worship online again this Sunday at our usual times with identical services at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. with recorded services available afterwards. Worship is about 45 minutes long and includes music, a children’s message, scripture, sermon, and prayer. Why not tune in at your usual time on Sunday morning for the unique experience of worshiping together while apart – or find the service online later.
The first Easter took place at a frightening time in a dangerous world. In this Easter season that is not all that different than the first, we will continue to listen with urgency for the message of hope.
Scripture: John 20:19-29
Sermon: Questions Jesus Asks: Have you believed because you have seen me?
We will read the story of “doubting Thomas” and discuss the nature of faith and doubt in fearful times.
A worship bulletin will be emailed before the service.
Children’s Time on Zoom, Sundays, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
A story, One Morning in Joseph’s Garden, and interactive songs (see parent email for details or mailto:CathyL@cpclacosta.org
