Sermon  Blessed to be a Blessing
We continue to reflect on the biblical principle Blessed to be a Blessing found all through the Bible. This Sunday we’ll emphasize how the blessings we’ve received enable, empower, and energize us to be a blessing. If we’re not both recognizing our blessings and paying them forward, we’re missing it—“it” being Life with a capital L, the Life Christ came to bring.
To worship online live or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Blessed to Be a Blessing is our focus as we make plans for our financial giving to our 2024-25 operating budget that begins July 1, 2024. In April we are hearing what our church means to three of our members and why they give generously to what God is doing in and through CPC. We are all invited to make estimates of giving (pledges which may be adjusted at any time) and bring or mail them to CPC on Sunday, April 28 or soon after. Look for a letter (and identical email for those who prefer email) to arrive early this week. Your pledge will help our church leaders make faithful plans in challenging times, and even more, is an important way to be a blessing in God’s world.
Coffee service is available after Sunday services.
One Great Hour of Sharing offering will be received throughout April. The One Great Hour supports Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, helping victims of floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and war in the US and around the world; the Presbyterian Hunger Program, supporting programs that feed hungry people; and the Self-Development of People, funding grass roots efforts to help communities. It’s one of the very best things Presbyterians do! Mark your check “OGHS” or give online at www.Christ-Pres.Church/give
