Listening for the Heartbeat of God
Our Sunday sermon series for Lent is Listening for the Heartbeat of God, focusing on insights from Celtic Christianity. The image is of the apostle John, who leaned on Christ during the last supper (John 13), and thus heard the heartbeat of God. The Celtic approach to Christianity is one that learns to listen for the divine heartbeat in all things: in the soul, in community, in the earth, in compassion, in beauty… everywhere.

We’ll use scripture, video clips from teachers of the Celtic tradition, and our own stories to address the focus of the previous Sunday’s sermon. Your leaders will be Jay Delcamp, Phil Sider, and Jon Vanderpool along with Greg Bostrom. We’ll meet in room 1 of the education building (look for the lights). Come to one or come to all for the fellowship and the faith! Pie will be served!
