April 5: Online Worship for Palm/Passion Sunday
Worship: we will worship online again this Sunday at our usual times, 9:00 (contemporary) and 10:45 a.m. (traditional), with recorded services available afterwards. Worship is about 40 minutes long and includes music, a children’s message, scripture, sermon, and prayer. We expect online worship at least through mid-May. We encourage you to tune in at your usual time on Sunday morning if you can for the unique experience of worshiping together while apart – or find the service online later.

Palm/Passion Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week, as we remember the last week of the life of Christ, culminating in the events of Good Friday and Easter. This year, Holy Week may be all the more poignant and powerful with our world in crisis.
Scripture: Mark 10:35-45
Sermon: Can you drink the cup that I drink?
Drama: It is a tradition on Palm Sunday at CPC to anticipate the events of Good Friday, the crucifixion of Christ, with drama at the end of worship.

Our Director of Family Ministries, Cathy Love, is sending out Bible stories and playsheets (they’re not worksheets!) for children and parents to do together. If you’re not receiving them, email mailto:cathyl@cpclacosta.org
