Scripture  John 1:1-5, 14-18
Sermon   The Way of the Word
Presbyterian minister and author Frederick Buechner died last week at the age of 96. He served as an inspiration for more than one generation of preachers, including Doug Kelly and Greg Bostrom here at CPC. His approach to faith acknowledged the doubt, despair, and darkness that are so much a part of our world, yet the acknowledgment of those fearsome realities opened the door to a genuine if often fleeting experience of beauty, joy, and love. Much like these first verses of the gospel of John, the poetic, mystical description of the deep truth to be found in all things.
To worship online live every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church
and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Coffee service is available after both Sunday services, thanks to our baristas- more are welcome!
