What does God have to say to us on the high holy day of American culture? Greg Bostrom will be joined by Matt Hudson to offer a few clues in a lighthearted approach to the big-hearted gospel. It’s a CPC tradition – and a great day to invite a friend!
My One Word: You’re invited to choose one word to be your spiritual focus for 2019. Pick one word (or phrase) to receive your attention: write it on a card in your desk, put it on a post-it note on the mirror, use it as a screen saver – there are countless ways to remember to consider something new. Among the many choices people have made in the past are: compassion, forgive, steady, look, and grace. Eileen’s word is community. Greg’s is up. Email your word to mailto:amyk@cpclacosta.org or write it anonymously on a slip of paper in the lobby so we can see what other folks are thinking about.
Per capita covers the “per person” administrative costs of being Presbyterian at the local (San Diego Presbytery & synod) and national (General Assembly) level. CPC will forward $37 per member to the Presbyterian Church in 2018. We are each asked to donate $37 for every active (confirmed) member of our households. Thank you!
