This Sunday at CPC, June 18, 2023
Today we celebrate Father’s Day with root beer floats and by inviting children to engage the men of the church in water play and lawn games after worship. Look out!
Scripture Genesis 1:1-5, 26-28, 31
Sermon Why is there Something instead of Nothing? We begin our summer sermon series Journey Through Genesis. There’s always more than meets the eye—and ear—in Genesis. First there are the questions: Where do we come from? Why are we here? Why is the world so messed up? Then there are the stories: family intrigue, vivid dreams, promises kept and broken, forgiveness, homecoming. And within and behind it all is the mysterious God who invites his people into connection and covenant, again and again. This summer we journey through this ancient book that speaks to the heart and soul of every generation, including ours. We start (where else?) with the creation of all things!
To worship online live Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church
and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Coffee service is available after both Sunday services.
A note from the office: due to staff vacations, office hours may vary. We suggest calling or emailing before coming by to make sure we’re here!
