Scripture Psalm 19
Sermon Listening for the Heartbeat of God: Sacred Earth. We continue our Lenten sermon series seeking insight from Celtic Christianity that listens for God in all things. This Sunday we remember that the Bible tells us that the universe and all that is in it was declared by God to be “good” at the moment of creation, and thus the natural world reveals the Creator (Genesis 1, Romans 1:19-20).
Pick up your Lenten Devotional at worship this Sunday.
To worship online live every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church

Coffee Service is available after both Sunday services. Many thanks to all our volunteer Baristas. We thank you for your patience as we implement change while observing COVID protocol, serving your requests. A donation box supports this amenity. More servers welcome!
Listening for the Heartbeat of God
Our Sunday sermon series for Lent is Listening for the Heartbeat of God, focusing on insights from Celtic Christianity. The image is of the apostle John, who leaned on Christ during the last supper (John 13), and thus heard the heartbeat of God. The Celtic approach to Christianity is one that learns to listen for the divine heartbeat in all things: in the soul, in community, in the earth, in compassion, in beauty… everywhere.
