Sermon Welcome Your Path
We continue our series on Discovering the Life Abundant in the gospel of John with the mysterious nighttime encounter of Jesus and the temple leader Nicodemus, whose curiosity about the teacher from Nazareth may turn into something more. How do we enter the spiritual life, anyway? Nicodemus wants to know, and John thinks we do, too.
To worship online live Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church
and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Hands of Peace Update Debby Fosdick, Executive Director of Hands of Peace, will join us at the 9:00 am service this Sunday. CPC partners with Hands of Peace to empower American, Israeli and Palestinian youth through dialogue, education and action. Debby will provide an important update in light of challenges posed by the current situation in Israel.
Coffee service is available after both Sunday services.
Our Sunday sermon series in Lent is Discovering the Life Abundant, a journey through the gospel of John, paired with our small group study. John was called “the spiritual gospel” by a leader of the early church, written “that you may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). We’ll listen to John and to our own lives, seeking the abundant life Christ came to share (John 10:10).
