COME AND WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY, TRINITY SUNDAY
Choose where you would like to worship this Sunday and after:
Indoors in the sanctuary and lobby, with all the sliding glass doors open!
Please sign-up so we can make plans. Click Sign Up at www.Christ-Pres.Church
In keeping with county guidance, please wear a mask (there may be children or
folks at risk present). Sing softly, not like you do in the shower!
Outdoors on the patio and lawn, with pop-up tents provided for the sun or rain!
Per the county, masks need not be worn by the vaccinated, though lately many
choose to mask up anyway. Wear a mask to sing at whatever volume you like!
Online at www.Christ-Pres.Church (click “Watch Worship”), live or recorded.
We have upgraded our technology to make the sound and video even better.
The “vibe” may be a little different as worship leaders make eye contact with
people in the room as well as the camera. Sing loud at home for your neighbors!

9:00 a.m.  Contemporary Worship
10:45 a.m. Traditional Worship

Trinity Sunday comes right after Pentecost, with its attempt to image the God “whose ways are higher than our ways, whose thoughts are higher than our thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9). “God in three Persons, blessed Trinity” is an imperfect description (every image is); however, there is deep truth to be found for those willing to look for it.

A Memorial Day Observance will conclude both worship services this Sunday.

Scripture  Genesis 1:1-2, John 1:1-5
Sermon   The One, the Word, and the Wind
How do we describe the indescribable God? How do we put into words what is beyond words? The One, the Word, the Wind, the Trinity are all among the ways people of faith have tried to make the idea of God come alive. Might there be life in those images for us, too?
A worship bulletin will be emailed before the service.

Online coffee hour on Zoom 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. See This Week for Zoom log in information.
