Scripture: John 20:30-31
Sermon: A Few True Things
Easter is a season as well as a day, and on the third Sunday of Eastertide, we will read this short, two-verse summary of why John wrote his gospel. He couldn’t possibly tell us all the stories about Jesus, he says, but there is a reason he has told us the
ones he has. And it’s perfect for a day in which we renew the promise of our baptism.
