Sunday, October 24
9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship
10:45 a.m. Traditional Worship
This Sunday we honor those who have made worship possible during the pandemic, including our musicians, singers, pray-ers, ushers, decoraters, designers, and audio-visualizers. It’s been an amazing challenge and our church family has risen to the occasion with grace, skill, and commitment. This is our chance to express our gratitude. Come to the reception at 10:00 a.m.
Scripture Matthew 5:1-9
Sermon Blessed are the Peacemakers
Seventh in our fall sermon series on the Beatitudes, we look at what it means to be a peacemaker. Many of us know the Hebrew word for peace, “shalom,” which means not only absence of conflict, but the presence of safety, wholeness, justice, and all the material things that make for a good and healthy life. That might make peacemaking a broader undertaking than we had realized.
To worship online live every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
