Sermon The Art of Forgiving: Special Cases (they’re all special cases)
We continue our survey of The Art of Forgiving, God’s gift for dealing with a past we cannot change. This Sunday we’ll hear the reply of Jesus when asked, “how many times must I forgive?” Every forgiveness journey is unique, and we’ll talk about several variations, including forgiving when you want to reconcile or reunite with the one who hurt you. See below for details on the series and weekly follow-up discussions. Check out other messages in the series by clicking “Videos” on our web page.
To worship online live every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 or recorded: go to www.Christ-Pres.Church
and click Watch Worship, then click the service you would like to attend.
Coffee service is available after both Sunday services, thanks to our baristas- more are welcome!
Sermon Series: The Art of Forgiving addresses the challenging topic of how to forgive when you have been wronged and don’t know how to start. Based on Lewis Smedes’ book of the same name, sermons will address:

September 25 How Do I Begin (and how long is the journey)
October 2 When It Gets Hard (it’s always hard; that’s why we need it)
October 9 Special Cases (they’re all special)
October 16 Forgiving Yourself (sometimes that’s hardest)
Forgiveness: the only remedy for a past we cannot changed. L. Smedes
