God did wonderful things for Jeremiah before he was even born. He knew him. He formed him. He set him apart and appointed him as a prophet to the nations.

Blessing of the Backpacks

Last Sunday we filled over 100 backpacks for kids at La Mirada School in about twenty minutes! Thanks for all who donated, filled, organized and prayed for all the young people at La Mirada, all our own children heading back to school, and all God’s children. Coming on Sunday, September 15: a new hands-on project: packing food for the kids of La Mirada. Bless you all!

Baby Shower for the Ivanov family, 4 p.m. All are welcome! Aleksei and Marina Ivanov are expecting a boy and need everything! The Ivanovs are legal asylum seekers whom we are hosting at CPC while they await a decision. If you’d rather not shop for a gift, Target gift cards or cash donations to the asylum fund (made out to CPC) are welcome.
