On the first Sunday of Advent, we look back to the years of waiting for the long-awaited Messiah to arrive, and we look forward to the fulfillment of God’s promises in a second Advent. How do we live in hope in trying times?
Alternative Christmas Market, 10 a.m. “Shop” for gifts for friends and family in the form of support for mission and community services that help the less fortunate here in San Diego and around the world. Choose one or several from a dozen options; if you wish, you can designate your donation as a Christmas gift for friend or family.

Joy in the Journey, the Women’s Christmas Tea, Sunday December 2, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Usher in the season with delicious treats, beautiful Christmas music, and friendship! Pastor and spiritual director Kristi Devito will share an uplifting message. Our giving project benefits Humble Design, a local non-profit that provides furniture for homes for people moving out of homelessness (pick up a wish list at church).
