Sunday, March 22: Online Worship for the Fourth Sunday in Lent
Worship: we will worship online again this Sunday at our usual times, 9:00 (contemporary) and 10:45 a.m. (traditional), with recorded services available afterwards. Worship is about 35 minutes long and includes opening, music, children’s message, scripture, sermon, and prayer. We expect at least another eight weeks of online worship.

To watch live:

Click “Videos” on the menu bar which takes you to the CPC YouTube page.

Click “Streaming” or “Live” (sometimes there is a delay, so you may need to refresh your browser until it appears).

To watch recorded services:

Click “Videos” on the menu bar which takes you to the CPC YouTube page.

Look for the date on the “thumbnail.”

Nearly 100 households watched the 9:00 or 10:45 service live last Sunday, and there have been 445 total views of last Sunday’s worship. That’s a remarkable total, considering we normally have 180-190 individuals in worship on a normal Sunday. We encourage you to tune in at your usual time on Sunday morning if you can for the unique experience of worshiping together while apart.

Children’s Sunday School at home
Our Director of Family Ministries, Cathy Love, is sending out Bible stories and playsheets (they’re not worksheets!) for children and parents to do together. If you’re not receiving them, email cathyl@cpclacosta.org

During the Health Crisis…
Daily Prayer at 5:00 p.m. wherever you are!
You are invited to pray each day for a moment or two (or longer) at 5:00 p.m., wherever you may be, another opportunity to gather together while apart in shared concern for our world, our nation, our community, and one another.

A Day in the Life of Faith is our photo-story-devotional coming out daily, Monday through Friday, by email and on Facebook and Instagram. Each day there will be a photo or two, a story or reflection and a scripture to share. Your comments are much appreciated; join the discussion! Another way to stay connected at CPC.

A Help Team is forming at CPC to help with grocery runs, prescription pickups, conversation, and other needs of our at-risk members who shouldn’t be going out. Join the Help Team by emailing Greg at gregb@cpclacosta.org or let us know if there’s someone who should be on our list to help!

Our elders and deacons are contacting our church family periodically during this time. If you haven’t heard from an elder or deacon yet, we probably have incorrect contact information for you; please let us know your best phone and/or email to amyk@cpclacosta.org  Thank you!

Church offices will be closed indefinitely in support of our community response to the health crisis. Pastors are still available by phone and email.
