Homeless Veterans Initiative: In two years CPC and four Presbyterian Churches in North County combined with Interfaith Community Services to house 122 veterans, 7 spouses, and 17 children! CPC alone has donated over $7000 and 60 “Make-It-A-Home” packs that provide needed home supplies for vets (bedding, cleaning, etc.). Be part of this year’s drive by taking a post-it with needed supplies off the display on the patio. Return items by this Sunday!
Tickets on the patio for Joy in the Journey, the Women’s Christmas Tea, Sunday December 2, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Usher in the season with delicious treats, beautiful Christmas music, and friendship! Pastor and spiritual director Kristi Devito will share an uplifting message. Our giving project benefits Humble Design, a local non-profit that provides furniture for homes for people moving out of homelessness (pick up a wish list at church).
