Fall 2018 Sermon Series: In Search of a Soul in which we’ll follow Jesus “on the way” in the gospel of Mark, seeking to live as people with a soul: open to a deeper reality, looking for something more, and ultimately connected to the Lord and Giver of life. Complete series listed below.
    Scripture this Sunday: Mark 9:2,30-37
Sermon: In Search of a Soul: Seek Solitude
How can our souls deepen if we give them no solitude – no opportunity for reflecting, wondering, considering the big picture of life – much less the opportunity to receive a wisdom, a beauty, a grace from beyond ourselves? But time is so short, and not all of us are built for meditation. Can we afford to seek solitude? Can we afford not to?
