Palm / Passion Sunday, March 24
9:00 & 10:45 a.m. (identical services)
Praise Singers, Band, Choir, and Instrumentalists offer beautiful music for this special day when we recall the entry of Christ into the holy city of Jerusalem on a Sunday, and look forward to the events of the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, the crucifixion on Good Friday, and the resurrection on Easter.
Scripture  John 14:1-7
Sermon  Finding Hope in the Way, the Truth, and the Life
John’s telling of the Last Supper includes the farewell message of Christ to his disciples in chapters 14-17, beginning with the image of Christ preparing a room for each of us in his Father’s house. Then Jesus offers us one more “I am…” saying: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” The interplay of the image and the words are rich, and we’ll explore them.
The service concludes with a drama anticipating the rest of Holy Week.

Scripture  John 15:1-15
