Bereavement Group at CPC. Thursday mornings  Anyone mourning the loss of a friend or loved one, recent or past, is invited to attend a bereavement group led by CPC’s Jane Savage, a hospice nurse, and Eileen VanGieson, our associate pastor and hospice chaplain. Open to CPC folks and the community. Vaccination required.

Middle School Youth ( 6th-8th grade)   Every Wednesday, 5:00—6:30 p.m. Join us for the BEST night of the week for games, friends and so so so much FUN. We’ll be outside so bring a sweatshirt.

 

Happenings

Discovering the Life Abundant is the topic for small groups in Lent focusing on the gospel of John beginning the week of February 25. Groups of 8-10 will be offered at various times of day and night, at church or in homes, for five sessions, using an easy-to-follow guide that connects gospel stories to our lives. Friday with Friends, March 17 4:30-??? St. Patrick's Day potluck

CPC Boomers visit Cabrillo National Monument on Saturday March 18.  Meet at CPC church parking lot at 9:15 to carpool down. Boomers member  Cathy Wolters will be leading the tour.  Highlights of the day include the historic lighthouse, the visitor center, Juan Cabrillo Monument, Tidepools, Fort Rosecrans Nat’l Cemetery.  Bring your own lunch.  Return time (to CPC) will be around 3:30.

Egg-Venture, Sunday April 2.  Our annual Easter egg hunt with separate egg hunts and bounce house for younger and older children.

Women's Retreat at Vina de Lestonnac, May 19-21.  Registration coming soon.
